Apple Print are delighted to be working with the above charity which are endorsed by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The LivCom literature is published in 30 languages and all publications need to be of the highest quality in terms of production and accuracy. The printing requirements vary from Brochures to Delegate Material to Large Format Exhibition products - often complex in nature and often required urgently. Apple Print also has it's own Mailing House so the job is managed from beginning to end. The Chief Executive, Alan Smith, writes that "Apple Print is the confirmed Print supplier for the LivCom awards. For over ten years, they have provided high quality, accurate work - always delivered on time".
Alan is also the General Secretary of The International Federation of Parks and Recreation Administration (Ifpra). Ifpra is the only totally global professional body for managers of urban and public open spaces. Apple Print produce Ifpra's in-house magazine which is supplied to members in over 50 countries. Alan adds "a feature of Apple Print's service is that they act as a safety net by checking all the material provided to them and raising questions about possible improvements".

Report on Berkshire Business Show 11th & 12th July
What a great show, loads of exhibitors and visitors, many interesting and informative seminars, networking, trading - and all under one roof.
Apple Print was delighted to be part of this very successful show. It was full to exhibitors well in advance and nearly 200 visitors had signed up beforehand on the dedicated website.
Newbury College proved to be a stunning venue and the organisation was absolutely spot on - thanks to Chula Bishop for her very capable direction, with great support from Una Carr . Our other fellow sponsors, John Hampson and his crew at the Newbury Weekly News, Joss Baker and her mad colleagues at Kick FM, Adam Hillier and Graham Hill at Verbatim were all amazing too. Sarah Rhoads did an excellent job of organising all the seminars.
We were really pleased with how many new contacts we made and friends too! Lots of new business plus we'll be giving work to many of our fellow exhibitors.
Apple Print will be back next year, so watch out for us at the Berkshire Business Show 2008. Thank you to everyone at this year's show, including many of our wonderful customers who came to support us, that helped to make it such a success and so much fun.

Apple Print aquires Heidelberg SM-52 2 Colour
 In February 2007 we took delivery of a Heidelberg SM-52 2 Colour Litho printing press. This machine replaces an older GTO machine that had been the backbone of the stationery and 2 Colour leaflet service at Apple Print over the last 10 years.
With high level of automation and a superior quality of print production, this machine will enable us to continue to offer a great turnaround coupled with outstanding print quality. When asked about the new machine's capabilities Production Manager Andrew Watts replied "The biggest headache we have now is filling the machine, it can take all of our existing work and do it in a third of the time." With the competition in the digital printing market growing all the time this machine will make it possible to offer a competitive rate on lower run jobs while maintaining a very high standard of print quality. |
